<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">新一代UGC平台，会是什么样子？一款目标全球范围Z世代，用户增长迅猛的新型3D UGC应用BUD，正在尝试做出解答。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">具体来说，<strong>BUD可以让每一个用户使用简单易用的无代码工具，创建个性化的3D交互内容。</strong>由于融合了热点、时尚、创意、美感等受Z世代喜爱的元素，BUD正在成为Z世代社交平台的新选择。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">据App Annie数据，BUD iOS海外版于2021年11月5日正式上线，Google Play版本的上线时间为2021年10月30日。<strong>BUD全球发布之后的一个月内，在0成本推广的前提下，已经在美国等多个国家的App Store中，社交应用程序排行前5。当前注册用户超过千万。</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">面对尚未成熟的市场和大热的元宇宙概念，<strong>Risa认为，BUD的底层技术是跨平台的，作为UGC媒介，BUD具有无限多的可能性。</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">随着未来技术更加成熟，游戏、AI、虚拟人、NPC等都有可能在BUD平台得到应用。<strong>BUD的理念是通过技术创新和产品设计，让每一位BUD用户都可以低门槛地创造3D场景，由此降低用户构建元宇宙世界的门槛。</strong></span></p>

从热爱到事业</span></strong></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">谈及自己创业的源动力，Shawn很自然地将之归结为“自身兴趣＋市场潜力”。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">Risa和Shawn都是90后创业者，在他们眼中，3D创作集设计、技术、艺术等多种潮流元素于一身，既符合自己的兴趣，也代表着Z世代的喜好。在Risa的朋友圈，体验虚拟互动内容和游戏，是她日常生活的重要部分。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">一方面是自身对3D创作的喜爱，另一方面则是3D创作的市场潜力。Risa和Shawn意识到可以将热爱变成事业。</span></strong></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">在创立BUD之前，Shawn曾在Snapchat、Facebook等硅谷社交平台公司供职。前期负责技术向的基础架构、性能优化、安卓重构。后期负责增长向业务，包括新用户留存的优化以及好友推荐。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">在硅谷的工作经历让两位创始人观察到：<strong>下个时代的媒介将不仅仅局限于人们熟悉的文字、图片、视频等形式，而有可能转向更加虚拟、更加互动的3D方向。</strong>而这一市场大趋势，恰好与自身技术能力和兴趣相匹配，于是两位创始人在2019年从Snapchat离职，回国进行3D创作领域的创业。</span></p>

<span style="color:#7f8c8d;"><span style="font-size:8px;">在BUD中创建海滩</span></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">Shawn也坦言，3D创作是一个全新的方向，有趣但又艰苦，<strong>如果不是这个方向真正的Believer（信仰者），很难在高强度的工作中坚持下去，只有热爱才能做出好产品。</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">在组建团队时，Shawn也将对企业价值观的认同，放在了首位。“工程技能和对产品的Sense（悟性）当然也很重要，<strong>但首先还是要认同3D创作的大方向。</strong>”</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">在价值观与专业技能的双重评判标准下，BUD公司目前员工总数超过百人，预计在2022年将增长到200人规模。<strong>Shawn还特别提到：“BUD在新加坡设立了全球中心，未来在全球核心区域，都会布局本地化的运营团队和开发团队。”</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">02/<br />
转型为3D UGC平台</span></strong></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">从创业想法到实际落地，BUD并非一帆风顺，中途也经历过一些调整。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">BUD产品早期主要是二维漫画形象，有一些开盲盒拆盲盒的功能，团队做了很多基于Avatar（虚拟形象）的内容，包括Avatar的小漫画、互动游戏等等。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">但Shawn很快发现，<strong>团队内部生产内容的速度永远满足不了用户消费的速度，同时新一代的用户也非常有创意，缺少的只是低门槛的工具。</strong>因此BUD团队在2020年底开始全力转型3D UGC方向。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">用Risa的话来说：“BUD的很多创作者，就是生活中很普通的女生，她们既不会编程也不会建模，而我们是第一个把低门槛的创作工具给到她们，让她们可以做出既有趣、又有很高自由度的3D内容。”</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">在转向3D UGC方向后，凭借更高的开放性和自由度，BUD的全球用户数量也迅速增加。<strong>在很多国家的社交App下载榜中，BUD的排名甚至仅次于Instagram 和Facebook。</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">从产品层面来看，BUD用户可以自己捏脸、换装来创造形象；构建具有超高自由度的地图；使用音乐砖、文本框、传送门、旋转等多种道具，实现个性化的创意表达；还能玩到其他玩家创作的音乐、跑酷、建筑、剧情地图等项目。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">“将设计、3D技术、艺术、游戏、社交等等元素集合到一起，最终就成了BUD。”Shawn用了这样一个形象的比喻。</span></strong></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">BUD的本质是降低用户3D创作的门槛，让UGC创作变得更加简单。没有任何编程基础和游戏开发经验的人，也可以基于BUD生产一个可社交、可游玩的空间，然后邀请朋友一起互动。另一方面，<strong>BUD对设计美感的把控，也让更多用户有自发分享的动力。</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">据Shawn透露，BUD团队会从画风、建模、产品Sense等多个维度进行拆解，经过大量的行业研究和对其他优秀产品的分析，定下自身的产品标准。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">而在具体的细节，比如每个角色眼睛的角度、大小和位置，头发的颜色和发型；身材比例和服装等，则会结合团队对美的理解进行把关，并根据用户反馈即时调整。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Shawn告诉新声Pro：“为了获得最真实的用户反馈，我和Risa经常泡在用户社区，和他们聊对产品的感受，再进行针对性迭代。”&nbsp;</span></strong></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">据了解，BUD80%的用户在15岁以上，且多为女性，在小红书和Instagram等潮流分享社区，有较多针对BUD穿搭的经验帖分享，从脸型、发型、眉毛、肤色到服装、配饰、鞋子等均有涉及，在促进BUD热度传播的同时，也侧面证明了BUD团队对设计美感细节的把控。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">03/<br />
更广阔的市场</span></strong></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">随着游戏、社交、3D生产工具等平台间的界限愈发模糊，在元宇宙概念下，放眼全球市场，新型社交平台软件还包括Rec Room、Roblox、Zepeto等等。</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">对此Shawn表示，<strong>BUD的产品优势始终体现在“更低的创作门槛＋更丰富的产品体验”。</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">按照BUD团队的设想，当具有DIY创意和设计能力的新一代用户，拥有更为方便趁手的创作工具，平台内3D原创作品的数量必将迎来井喷式增长。</span></strong></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">更精美、更高质量的内容激发了用户分享的欲望。Shawn也认为，除了在BUD社区内部的社交分享，<strong>用户自发在小红书、Tiktok等站外平台的分享帖，无疑为BUD营造了更大声量，从而吸引更多用户使用BUD创作内容并分享，形成正向循环。</strong>“就像是用户在为我们代言。”</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>因此在中短期内，BUD还是会在用户增长和产品打磨方面发力。</strong>即在以无编程模式降低创作门槛的同时，提升内容创作的质量，以此获得新用户并完成用户留存。针对核心编辑器的不断迭代，也是BUD团队工作的重点。“团队希望有一天用户能以傻瓜式操作，创作出非常精美的3D UGC作品。”</span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">另一方面，尽管AIGC还处于相对早期，但3D内容的算法推荐已经在逐渐成为行业竞争的壁垒。对此Shawn透露，<strong>通过算法优化，提升原创3D内容的分发效率，将是BUD团队下一步布局的方向。</strong></span></p>

<p class="rtejustify"><span style="font-size:16px;">而从中长期来看，产品的多元化和商业化也是必然的路径。对此BUD正在针对平台上近千万的数字资产进行布局，以期形成社交平台所能覆盖的商业生态闭环。</span></p>
